Diversion & Transitional Services

Diversion and Transitions Services were created to provide developmentally disabled individuals in danger of institutionalization with short-term services. The program stabilizes and prepares people to return to their homes or to live successfully in the community.

Services:
  • Medication management, behavioral support, skill development.

Eligibility:
  • Persons with a developmental disability in danger of being places in an institution due to mental health crisis.
Referral:
  • Referrals come from Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health; approval comes from the Division of Developmental Disabilities.
Ages:
  • 18 or older.
